Welcome to your modded PS3! With Evilnat CFW (Custom Firmware) installed, your console is now unlocked to give you more freedom and functionality than a standard PS3. This guide will walk you through setting up, using the modded features, and getting the most out of your PS3.

⚙️ First-Time Setup

1. Connect the Console

  • Plug in the power cable and HDMI.
  • Turn on the console using the power button or the controller.

2. Set Up Your Network

🚀 Tips and Tricks

⭐ Hold L2 + R2 while starting the PS3 to clear cache and refresh game paths.
⭐ To force a full reboot, press and hold the power button until you hear a double beep.
⭐ Don’t update the PS3 firmware unless it’s a CFW update — doing so can remove CFW.

🚨 Troubleshooting

Game won’t load – Try mounting it in Multiman instead of Webman.
Disc drive not working – Load the game from internal or USB storage.
Black screen after loading a game – Hold L1 when selecting the game in Multiman.
Overheating issues – Enable manual fan control in Webman MOD.
Freezing or crashing – Reboot the console and try again.

⚠️ Preventing Bans

  • NEVER sign into PSN while CFW is active.
  • Use PSNpatch to spoof your firmware if you need to log in.
  • Avoid loading homebrew while signed into PSN.
