Free Shipping Threshold Update

As of 5/1, the free shipping minimum at The Retro Hero has officially increased from orders over $100 to orders over $200.

Shipping costs have continued to rise across the board, especially for heavier retro consoles, bundles, and larger accessories. In order to continue offering properly packed, reliable shipping without cutting corners on quality or service, I had to make an adjustment to the free shipping threshold.

What this means:

  • Orders over $200 now qualify for free shipping
  • Orders under $200 will have shipping calculated at checkout
  • This change took effect starting 5/1

I always try to keep pricing fair while still maintaining the level of care that goes into every order, whether it’s a refurbished console, modded handheld, or imported games straight from Japan.
