Custom Sonic Themed SEGA Dreamcast – Refurbished, GDEMU Modded

This Dreamcast has been fully refurbished, hand-painted, and upgraded for both performance and presentation. The top shell features a metallic white finish, while the bottom shell is painted Sonic blue, both sealed with a matte clearcoat for a smooth, durable texture. The power and open buttons are finished in high-gloss clear, giving a polished contrast that stands out beautifully under light.

This system has been completely refurbished from the inside out. All mainboard capacitors have been replaced for long-term reliability. A resettable fuse, battery holder mod with diode, and new CR2032 battery have been installed to make it easy to maintain system time. The VA1 motherboard has been cleaned, inspected, and restored to ensure top performance.

The console is equipped with a GDEMU 5.20.5 optical drive emulator, replacing the disc drive for faster load times, quieter operation, and improved reliability. It comes with a white 3D printed GDEMU tray that fits cleanly into the drive bay, giving the console a finished and professional appearance. A 64GB plug-and-play SD card is included, so it is ready to use right out of the box.

Adding a final touch, this custom Dreamcast features a slow-fading RGB power LED, cycling through colors that represent the Chaos Emeralds, giving the system a unique glow while in operation.
