Included Services

Deep Cleaning: Complete disassembly and cleaning of all internal components to remove dust and debris.

Capacitor Replacement: Inspection and replacement of failing capacitors to restore system stability. Full mainboard recap available upon request.

Thermal Paste / Pads Replacement: Old thermal material is replaced to improve heat transfer and cooling efficiency.

Solder Joint Reflow: All critical solder points are inspected and reflowed if cracked or weakened.

Stress Testing: Each unit is bench-tested after service to confirm stable operation.

Drive Maintenance (Basic): For disc-based systems, the laser is cleaned and the drive belt replaced if required. Full laser replacement is not included.

Retrobrite Treatment: Yellowed plastic is treated using liquid hydrogen peroxide and controlled UV lighting for visual restoration. Labels are masked to prevent damage. Some discoloration may remain. Plastic brittleness is a known risk. The process typically requires about one week.

I’ll do my best to restore your console’s appearance and get it looking as close to brand new as possible. While a significant amount of yellowing can often be reversed, some stubborn discoloration may still remain in certain areas. I use a safe indoor setup involving liquid hydrogen peroxide and controlled UV lighting to ensure a consistent Retrobrite process. Labels and stickers are carefully covered to prevent damage, as the solution can potentially affect them. In rare cases, plastic may become brittle due to the chemical reaction involved, and I cannot take responsibility if that occurs. This service typically takes around one week to complete.
